Overview
RUANA is a slow-fashion womenswear brand website built as a client project. The site presents a Terra collection through an editorial, quiet-luxury experience: product storytelling, collection catalog, lookbook layout, and a waitlist flow that hands off to WhatsApp.
Approach
The build used Astro with React islands, Tailwind CSS v4, and self-hosted fonts. Scroll animation with GSAP and Lenis was kept minimal — motion supports the editorial reading experience instead of distracting from it.
What I Learned
This project taught me how to deliver a production site for a real client: translating a brand system into a static-first build, keeping performance targets while adding animation, and shipping through a custom domain on Vercel.
